I can't wait to hear about your race...you are such a true inspiration...I thought of my 'blogging friend' the other day when I was running at 7:30 in the morning...it was so peaceful!!

I baked an applecrisp last night with a yellow cake mix as the topping...oh my goodness. Top it off with Schwan's cinnamon ice cream....yummers!

Glad you're enjoying fall...we'll be hitting the mid 70's this weekend...much cooler than it's been!Amyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12524864741874868427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33139994.post-56896969417065696502008-10-03T10:01:00.000-05:002008-10-03T10:01:00.000-05:00I have a few blogging friends who run marathons. ...I have a few blogging friends who run marathons. You all amaze me! And, I know a couple in real life but they avoid me because of my sloth-like tendencies and the chance they will rub off.
I baked a cake last night. I have been feeling the baking call too. Time to put on those winter pounds.Debbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17480046958714954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33139994.post-84350981879499056172008-10-03T09:19:00.000-05:002008-10-03T09:19:00.000-05:00Good luck with the marathon! It came up when we went out to dinner and then she asked me for the URL to give to a colleague a couple weeks later and I gave it to her. It was nerve wracking! I didn't live far from the running route (like a block), and I remember the barricades being up and all. My favorite thing, however, was the local radio show having people call in if they did absolutely nothing to prepare for the race. Just got up that morning and ran. There were more than you would think and most finished with respectable times.

My wife doesn't read my blog regularly either, and she's the one who really got me into it. Her blog is amazing, and I am quick to admit she's a much better writer than me, with a loyal fan base hanging on her every word. As proof, over the past several months she's posted only a few things, but she gets hundreds of readers with each one as soon they see she's written something new.

We're all anxious to see how the race goes, and if I don't say it beforehand - Good Luck!Ronhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11609041651482395857noreply@blogger.com
